This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
• In touch with industry-wide technology trends and best practices
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals and passionate about building an innovative culture
• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement

This role will involve the full software development lifecycle including:

Requirements Definition, Solution Design & Architecture, Development, Testing and Deployment. The core technology is Java based therefore suitable experience of Object Orientated design in a modern application stack is a must.

Along with proficiency in the following technologies and software development practices;

• Java 8+
• Spring Framework (spring boot, data, rest, cloud)
• GIT version control
• Typescript
• Angular
• REST API design
• Experience with any cloud platform or container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
• Experience with modern agile software delivery practices such as scrum, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), TDD, and BDD, DevOps, and automation
