Founded in 2010, Satellogic is a vertically integrated geospatial analytics company that will be the first in history to develop a scalable Earth Observation platform with the ability to remap the entire planet at high-frequency and high-resolution. About the team.
The procurement and logistics department is in charge of procuring the products and services that the other departments of the company require in order to carry out their activities. Also negotiate prices, delivery conditions and payment terms with suppliers. At the same time ensure with the compliance department the legal requirements of purchases. And manage an effective relationship with suppliers, managing contracts and agreements, with the objective of achieving savings and better payment conditions.
From a Logistics perspective the department coordinates components and supplies logistics and at the same time is in charge of coordinating satellites logistics. Negotiating contracts with freight and customs agent suppliers, delivering shipments on time, and managing external warehouses.

About the position
The position will be part of the Procurement and Logistics team, giving administrative and operative support to the area, interacting with Accounting, Finance and suppliers. Updating the ERP according to the needs of the department.
The Procurement Intern will be helping Satellogic by sending purchase orders, doing administrative work when needed, procuring components and supplies that are required, asking for payments, and tracking status of the orders.
As a procurement intern @Satellogic you will:
- Prepare purchase orders for productive and non-productive components, tools, and supplies.
- Support the payment and invoicing process through contacting the suppliers.
- Request quotations from suppliers in order to achieve the best result for the company.
- Track outstanding orders until delivered and completed.
- Informing the purchase order requesters on the status of their orders.
About you
