We are looking for a Content Writer to work directly with one of our Australian clients. This is a full-time job where you will conduct thorough research on industry-related topics, generate ideas for new content types, write personalised copies, contents and proofread before publication.
Responsibilities:
- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
- Prepare cold email templates for clients and personalise them
- Prepare content and design email marketing campaigns
- Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
- Analyse content marketing metrics and make changes as needed
- Identify customers needs and gaps in content and recommend new ideas
- Write a clear marketing copy to promote products/services
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
- Generating, researching, and pitching ideas for posts
- Writing, editing, publishing, and promoting content
- Assisting in Content Strategy and Promotion
- Updating email drip campaigns
- Maximising site traffic by utilising SEO friendly keywords and metadata for SEO ranking
- Inviting other bloggers, experts, or other notable guests to contribute content to the webpage
- Monitoring responses to posts via the website, social media, or other platforms to better understand the audience
- Staying current on industry trends for possible opportunities to attract new readers or create stronger, more engaging content
- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
- Generate, edit, publish and share contents (original text, images, video or HTML) that build meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
- Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the content information
Requirements:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (native-level English required)
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
- Portfolio of published articles
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Familiarity with web publications
- Candidates must have their device for working Remotely during Covid-19
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing, customer journey, and web analytics
Bonus Points:
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems
