This is a leadership role with primary responsibilities of conducting all functions of supply chain operations with optimum cost and required quality standard within specified time period.This position will analyse operational performance and resolve issues through collaboration with vendors and suppliers to ensure all operations meeting quality standards.This position will directly assist project management for achieving Company objectives through dynamism in leading SCM team for smooth and timely supply of all construction materials required in construction work.

Bachelors from any reputed University
Preferable from Public University etc.
Experience
15 years + working experience in the relevant field with a minimum of 08 years managerial experience

Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Role
Develops appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the optimum cost.
Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Directs and coordinates supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.
Plan, manage, and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and ensure supply need to meet the changing levels of product demand.
- Coordinate with project team and guide SCM team for smooth and timely supply of all materials maintaining required quality and with optimum cost.
- Conduct SCM operation for enlistment of reliable suppliers and vendors for required products with optimum cost, delivery time, credit limit, credit time, etc.
- Establish appropriate SOP, guidelines and departmental policy for smooth operation of all SCM activities.
- Ensure procurement of required materials as per Bill of Quantity as per set timeline.
- Develop foreign sources for importable items and conduct price analysis to justify direct import or buy from local vendor.
Collaborates with procurement department to determine best practice for freight in and freight consolidation.
- Formulate strategy for improving procurement activities aligning with the business plan.
- Ensure due diligence by checking and recommending Suppliers for due payment.
- Co-ordinate with Project Stores including Central warehouse and ensure maintaining EOQ inventory level
- Keep track of excess material and ensure use within time as appropriate.
- Conduct regular market survey and vendor enlistment for new and improved resources.
- Propose and implement training and developmental activities for the team members in coordination with HR for increasing efficiencies of the department.
