Officer, Public Relations and Communications, Marketing

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute public relations plan for Aarong and its sub-brands (TAAGA, TAAGA MAN, HERSTORY by Aarong, Grassroots Café) for local and global audiences
• Ensure earned media by distribution of press releases, product content, and other campaign-based push content to print and digital-based news outlets for each campaign
• Prepare press releases, talking points, and visual aids, required for campaigns, events, outlet openings, product launches, and new services
• Coordinate content development for website and other public platforms of the organisation
• Responsible for internal communications including publication of newsletter, internal branding and coordinating with various departments to execute organisational events
• Prepare written and visual content for lifestyles blogs, newspaper supplements, social media, and website
• Assist in developing presentations, written reports, Request for Proposals (RFPs), and general corporate communications

Qualifications:

Education:

• A Bachelor Degree (preferably majored in Communications, Public Relations or Marketing) from any reputed university

Experience:

• 1- year of relevant work experience is preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in communication, public relation and media
• Knowledge of Fashion trends, lifestyle products, social media platforms
• Good idea about Local and global lifestyle blogs, magazines as well as news outlets (prints and digital)
• Familiarity with Website Content Management
• Good analytical and interpersonal skills with strong writing skills in English and Bangla
