Officer, Retail HR

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as a liaison between the Retail and HR to understand business priorities and assesses needs in staffing, organization design, performance management, change management, employee relations, new leader coaching, talent management, and career development
• Recommend HR solutions, drive initiatives, implement new processes or tools in support of business priorities, retail operations, and overall team engagement
• Meet with Retail leaders and managers regularly to update on HR initiatives, discuss HR issues and collect feedback on team concerns
• Guide leaders and managers on performance and appraisal issues
• Coordinate initiatives that enhance work relationships and staff retention, e.g., staff appreciation program, team building events, etc.
• Support employees throughout their career: on-board new hires, administer team assignments and career moves, facilitate appraisals, exit interviews
• Counsel employees on career development opportunities and choices
• Answer employee queries on HR matters
• Manage and resolve employee relations issues
• Manage recruitment of Sales Associates of the outlets
• Champion and promote HR initiatives across the teams

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor of Business Administration (preferably in Human Resource Management) from any reputed university

Experience Requirements:

• 1 year of work experience in an HR Business Partner role

• Excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong work ethics, able to handle confidential information sensitively and with integrity
• Good planning, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Fast learner, proactive, agility to function in a fast-changing innovative environment
• Able to work both on a team (a member or leader) and independently to deliver results with minimal supervision
• Adept at working with diverse teams of different cultures and personalities
