Our client is a reputed multinational in luxury sanitary ware business. The products lines are premium and focused at niche market.

Job Responsibilities:

The job involves complete ownership of business in Bangladesh & Nepal region. The responsibilities have been divided under three broad heads –

Trade Sales Tasks:

  • Establish key relationships with decision influencers and decision makers like the leading Architects, Interior Designers and Builders and enhance market presence in defined sales regions.
  • Responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and initiating sales directly to residential and commercial project organisations.
  • Establish new Dealer/Distributor network and maintain Dealer relationship.
  • Facilitate enhancing mindshare, gaining presence, and increasing sales volumes

Business Development Manager Tasks:

  • Based on business plans, identify top Architects and Interior Designers in the targeted geographic market and develop a strong relationship with key contacts
  • Educate Architects and Interior Designers about the brand and its products through extensive brand specific product presentations.
  • Build and maintain connect with the top management and/or decision makers of leading Builder Groups, Real Estate Developers and Hospitality Chains and explore potential business opportunities.
  • Responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and initiating sales directly to residential and commercial project organisations.
  • Seek out projects, such as Hospitality and High-end developments in the targeted geographic market and assist with initial specification sales.
  • Facilitate enhancing mindshare / gaining presence / and sales volumes with the objective of meeting/exceeding monthly / quarterly targets

Project Sales Tasks:

  • Achievement of planned sales through project network (direct customer, and even working on projects in collaboration with the channel partners)
  • Development and expansion of project business in the region. Relationship building with key stake holders – developers, architects, hotel chains. Ensure a professional and consistent project follow up activity
  • Develop and maintain database / records of all key contacts and updates in the CRM tool
  • Effectively capture key market information and share it with management

Desired Candidate’s profile:

  • An ideal candidate would be a Management and/or Engineering Graduate with 8-12 years experience in Channel Sales, Retail and Project sales with reputed organisations in the Building Material/ Sanitary ware/Paints/Related Industry
  • Must have strong working exposure in Bangladesh & Nepal region with proven track record of building and scaling up business
  • Position is based at Dhaka and thus local citizens would be preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
