Sr. Full Stack Javascript Developer (Remote)

The Role

We are looking for someone for a full-time salaried position. Software engineering is a foundational skill and a key role in our engineering team.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be creating an efficient solution to solve complex technical problems. You will work mostly with NodeJS, Vue.js, MongoDB & Postgres to build microservices and APIs that power advanced mobile apps and web platforms. Ideally, you would be familiar with deploying services to the cloud, data processing, database, and compute products.

This is a full-time remote position. The candidate must have excellent communication skills. Fluency in English is a must.  

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a full-stack developer (back-end/front-end) in a professional environment, with the ability to multitask, leading up to 2 software projects at a time.
• The individual should be comfortable with both backend and frontend, demonstrating strength in both areas.
• Ability to architect, develop and test code in Node.js at an enterprise level, adhering to software engineering best practices.
• Ability to Design APIs with a strong understanding of software design patterns.
• Strong database knowledge in Postgres or MySQL. Knowledge of NoSQL (ie. MongoDB), for designing applications with scalable data storage.
• Ability to develop apps using the Nuxt.js (Vue.js) frameworks preferred, Angular or React will be considered.
• Experience in using Git, GitHub, agile development life-cycle, code integration strategies, and continuous deployment.
• Experience with the cloud. Google Cloud is preferred, but applicable skills in AWS or Azure will be considered.
• Experience with the firebase SDK would be a plus
• A bonus if you can write basic algorithms in Python, Containerize applications with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and understand Linux server configurations

Salary: 120,000 BDT – 200,000 BDT
