Pall are currently looking for a Customer Service Representative / Administrator to join our friendly, hard-working team who play a vital role in our growing business, promoting the highest standards of customer service to exceed expectations.

This role can be based at our Pall site in either France (Saint-Germain-en-Laye) or Belgium (Hoegarden).

This role will not only process incoming orders, but will provide product/service information as well as resolving emerging problems that the customer accounts might face, with accuracy and efficiency. Our target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.

If successful in this role, you would interact with customers over the phone or via email to identify needs and determine appropriate action, or you would progress for further review. You could be processing sales orders, documenting customer complaints, and responding to customer service needs, including shipment, billing and warranty issues, and basic product inquiries. You would also be raising credit/Debit notes, Product Returns, preparing draft and dispatch Contracts.

Other aspects of this role include responding to communications from Customers and the Sales Force, working to the departmental key performance indicators and objectives, and leading all aspects of order management through QlikView and SAP reporting tools.

What are we looking for?

  • Office related experience involving communication with Customers
  • Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment, ideally international environment
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system
  • Fluent in French (written / spoken)
  • Good English (written / spoken); Dutch is an advantage, though not essential
  • Attention to detail along with methodical approach to work
  • Proven phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and self-manage your time effectively
  • Ability to develop productive customer relationships and customer focused attitude
