Data Specialist – EUROPEAN DYNAMICS – Brussel

We currently have a vacancy for a Data Specialist fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either on the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the team that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Design and implementation of advanced data and document mining features, reporting and visualization features, on top of secure data and document exchange;
• Design, implementation and optimization of required integration architecture;
• Draft technical documentation, summaries, statistics, reports and briefing notes;
• Contribute to drafting strategic documents

Requirements

• University degree combined with 9 years of professional experience in IT;
• Experience in advanced data and document mining technologies: Elastic Search, NLP, semantic search, ontologies, ML;
• Experience in advanced business intelligence, data dashboarding/visualization tools;
• Hands-on experience (design and development) with open-source software packages implementing advanced data and document mining capabilities;
• Hands-on experience (design and development) with system integration using: ESB, Web Services (SOAP and REST), XML, JSON;
• Data and document protection with digital signature and encryption is an asset;
• Knowledge of data and document exchange formats and IT infrastructure admin knowledge is an asset;
• Very good communication skills e.g. giving presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences;
• Excellent command of English, both written and oral.
