Designer (Senior) – Emakina Belgium – Brussel

You’ll play a crucial role in the marketing and communication department of our global agency. You’ll guard the Emakina brand guidelines with your life, ensuring that brand collateral and visual material stay coherent across all touchpoints (from social campaigns and websites to special events).

As a creative digital designer, you’ll be involved in digital projects from

moodboard stage to final delivery. You’ll enjoy trying your hand at many different types of cross-media projects.

• Taking part in brainstorms

• Understanding design briefs and other requirements
• Coming up with creative design ideas
• Creating moodboards and conceptualising visuals
• Preparing rough drafts and presenting ideas
• Working with copywriters and a creative director to produce final designs

• Web/UI design, web assets, illustrations, print design, motion design, online campaigns, print ads, digital signage, 3D and VR… and many other things still to be invented!
• Photo shoots, image compositing and photo retouching
• Branding for digital, print and gadgets/clothing
• Establishing and enforcing design guidelines

• Portfolio of branding, web/UI, print and motion design examples
• Expertise with the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, XD, Illustrator)

• Expertise with Figma, Abstract, invision, Sketch is a plus
• Experience of Premiere, After Effects and social media tools
• Knowledge of pre-press techniques and print production formats
• Information design skills and ability to design great PowerPoint slides
• Excellent visual design skills with a knack for user experience

• A keen eye for aesthetics and details and good eye for typography
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Curious and up to date with the latest graphic design trends, techniques, and technologies
• Good spoken and written English

• Ability to draw and create illustrations is a plus
