• Ability to read, analyze and interpret contractual documents, and technical documents
• Knowledge of construction techniques, building materials, mechanical, electrical plumbing, low-voltage systems and clean room pharmaceutical building, standards and equipment for biopharmaceutical plants
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Our client is a global biopharmaceutical company focusing on creating value for people living with neurology and immunology conditions

In the context of a major construction project in our client is looking for a Sourcing and Contract Manager to take care of procurement packages in close collaboration/coordination with the project team already in place and under the supervision of the company procurement.

This will include:

• Construction works and finishes
• MEP (Mechanical, electrical, plumping)
• Process equipment

The mission covers the following:

• Perform procurement activities

• Assist Estimating with Bidding and Budget Preconstruction, defining/developing scope of work for MEP and evaluating subsequent bids
• Lead/participate/coordinate Procurement Packages activities in collaboration with Project team
• Handle full RFI / RFQ processes as appropriate as per Procurement Plan
• Perform commercial analysis of bids (Total Value of Ownership optimization, business cases comparison)
• In collaboration with the legal department, set up contractual agreements ensuring appropriate company protection (risk analysis – KPI setting)
• Negotiate terms & conditions with suppliers
• Consider sustainability criteria to ensure that the products and services purchased have the lowest environmental (during their entire life cycle) and most positive social (child labor provision, occupational health and safety, regulatory compliance) impact
• Communicate progress and prepare appropriate reports

• Manage Contract Execution

• Manage suppliers contractual and commercial relationship to meet main project drivers and secure project quality, the budget and the schedule
• Ensure consistency and adequacy of documents such as Performance Bonds, Bank guarantees, Invoices, confidentiality agreements.
• Report packages status to the Procurement Manager and to the Project Management, as required, highlighting progress and areas of concern
• Track savings versus set targets and complies with reporting guidelines

• Comply with the company and project strategy, procedures, guidelines and software usage
