Functieomschrijving As a video editor you will support the Academy teamon the video editing, and animation for the different training topics.

Your Responsibilities Are

• Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
• Take a brief to grasp the production team’s needs and specifications
• Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
• Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
• Create rough and final cuts
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
• Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency

Profiel

• Academic studies Level required Design and film studies (digital, e-learning, design, movie production, Production & Sound Engineering or related) Graduated
• Good knowledge in Video editing (Software used: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator)
• Good knowledge of MS 365 (Excel, Power Point, Word)
• Creative and graphic talents to ensure material is engaging
• Good English language skills (spoken and written)
• Well Developed Communication skills to ensure the content generated is properly understood and adopted
