YOUR ROLE

• Plan events and enrich the demand plan (=Enriched Forecast);
• Lead Demand Review meetings for the respective region;
• Propose and execute measures to improve the quality of the demand plan (=Enriched Forecast);
• Act a key counterpart for sales and marketing for all demand influencing projects and parameters and incorporate them in the demand plan, e.g. information on competition gaining market share, increasing market growth, advertisement and promotions, etc;
• Control volumes for new product introductions, promotions, customer loss/gains and other events;
• Maintain product lifecycle in APO DP and secure a correct demand plan for these items;
• Continuously improve the forecast accuracy by conducting root cause analysis of forecast errors and by challenging the demand input provided by the sales and marketing teams;
• Translate the volume plan into value, make the gaps between the monetized demand plan and the KP and RFC visible, and conduct gap analysis and inform the SBU on the gap between the BP and KP;
• Consult sales/marketing on potential gap-closing actions;
• Facilitate sign off of the demand plan by accountable sales/marketing managers;
• Assist the Head of Business Planning in preparing the regional supply review as well as the regional S&OP meeting;
• Incorporate feedback and communication from the regional S&OP meeting (e.g. additional gap closing actions) in the next Demand Review cycle;
• Influence organization to go to the next level of S&OP process e.g. assist the implementation of integrated business planning, support the determination of a high-quality RFC, secure the demand plan sign-off.

YOUR SKILLS

• High analytical (numercial) capabilities;
• Excelent skills to learn and use SAP, APO and Exel spreadsheets;
• Good communication skills throughout all levels and functions within the organization.
