Bindery Helper – Gilmore Printing Services Inc.

Gilmore Printing Services is the offset division within the R.E. Gilmore group of companies. We are currently looking to hire Bindery Helpers to join our growing production team. You must be able-bodied, reliable and capable of performing repetitive hand work and assisting machine operators in the running of various pieces of finishing equipment in our bindery department. You must be able to work efficiently as part of a team, while sorting and packing finished printed material.

Required Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of bindery equipment and printing processes is considered and asset
• Pays excellent attention to details and is able to communicate well
• Must be able to bend and lift, perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere as well as stand for extended periods of time
• Possess strong hand and eye coordination with above average manual dexterity
• Ability to multitask in addition to working well under pressure
• Attention to detail when working on equipment, to be able to recognize and make supervisor aware of any potential quality issues
• Able to lift paper and material up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis
• Must be able to work well with minimal supervision and in a team environment.

This is a full time position. A competitive salary and benefits will be offered to the right candidate. Training will be provided.
