Director, Compensations and Rewards

About the opportunity :

We are excited to be looking for a Director, Compensation and Rewards to join our high performing team! Reporting to the Chief Financial Office, this role will be a key member of the team and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the compensation program and health and welfare benefit plans for employees across Kognitiv.

This includes developing compensation and benefit strategies that drive growth, attract and retain talent, optimize the workforce and drive productivity.

Additionally, as the HRIS subject-matter-expert, you will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, testing system changes, strategizing and planning on how to utilize Workday ESP based on business needs around compensation and people management, and implementing process improvement opportunities to the relevant module / data within Workday.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :

  • Lead the development of the Total Reward strategy across all business functions, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Develop compensation strategy and direct the design, implementation and communication of all compensation plans and policies, working closely with regional P&C Business Partners
  • Work with regional P&C to ensure cost control and equitable framework within all health and benefit plans.
  • Work closely with the Finance team and the regional P&C BPs in annual budgeting and regular forecasting for salary structures, merit increases, variable pay, incentive programs, and ensure alignment with company goals and initiatives.
  • Work in partnership with external vendors and consultants in both compensation and benefit arenas to ensure the company is positioned competitively and stays current on trends / changes in Tech industry.
  • Play a critical role in the due diligence process and comprehensive review of all company-wide compensation and benefit plans for new projects and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Manage year-end bonus and merit process including global administration of variable pay, reporting, payout letters, audits for security and governance.
  • Subject Matter Expert and PM of the HR platform in Workday. Ensure data integrity, test system changes, create and run global reports, and analyse data flows.
  • Lead the global strategy for how we utilize the HRIS systems in place for further automation. Develop, analyse, and create process improvements and innovative solutions for the existing systems.

  • 5-10 years of experience in human resources and supporting HR systems and compensation
  • Leadership and team building skills with 3-5 years of proven project management experience.
  • Manage multiple conflicting priorities with an excellent attention to detail
  • Be flexible and available to interact with employees at all levels
  • Be self-directed and motivated
  • Strong understanding of HR Processes and data
  • Advanced knowledge of HRIS systems
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent combination or education and / or work experience.
