We currently have an exciting Part Time opportunity for a Food Service Worker to join our Mental Health and Substance Use Services team at Maple Ridge Treatment Centre located in Maple Ridge, BC . If you’re someone who is looking for a rewarding challenge, then this is the ideal position for you!

Effective October 26th, all new hires to Fraser Health will need to have full COVID 19 vaccination (have received a full series of a World Health Organization “WHO” approved vaccine against infection by SARS-COV-2, or a combination of approved WHO vaccines). Build on your experience as you:

• Perform food preparation and utilize kitchen equipment
• Assist Cooks by performing duties such as washing, peeling, slicing, and storing vegetables and fruit
• Set up the serving line for meal service including condiments, utensils, portioned desserts, salad bar, coffee and juice
• Clean kitchen area and maintain Food Safe standards.

Qualifications:

• Completion of Grade 10
• Six (6) months of recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Food Safe certification.
