Who We Are
We are the downtown Vancouver branch of Simon Fraser University Library and are pleased to support teaching, research and lifelong learning at Simon Fraser University’s Vancouver campus. We are also open to members of the community.
About the Role
Library assistants at the Belzberg Library help staff, faculty, students and members of the community borrow materials, book computers, connect with other library services, and enjoy our spaces. You’ll spend time having conversations with library users, shelving, circulating books and other materials, and connecting with colleagues.
Ideally, as a library assistant at the Belzberg library you:
- Graduated from high school.
- Have experienced and enjoy customer service.
- Have a familiarity with basic computerized record keeping functions.
- Are able to organize and shelve library materials.
- Understand the DTES and its communities.
