Owl Pod is a virtual telemedicine mental health and obesity clinic for patients in Alberta. We are a group of over 30 family physicians that provide counseling for common conditions like anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness, and obesity.

We are looking for an administrative assistant that can help with the clerical needs of our growing clinic. We emphasize teamwork and a strong sense of staff community with monthly meetings and social events. You can expect flexible hours and the ability to work from home!

Working for Owl Pod offers amazing flexibility:
- Work remotely from anywhere in Alberta (though Calgary is preferred)
- Shift hours negotiable: work in the morning, afternoon, or evening
What you will do:
- Schedule patient appointments
- Help manage physician schedules
- Handle emails, faxes and calls from patients and referring clinics
- Input patient demographic information into our electronic medical record
- Participate in Owl Pod monthly meetings
Requirements:
- Team player!
- Effective digital and verbal communication skills
- Personal computer with internet connectivity
- Strong computer skills (typing, email, web-browser navigation)
- Personal phone to call anywhere in Canada
- Organizational and problem-solving skills
- Interest in improving the mental health of Albertans!
