Picker and Packer – Alliance Employment Group

Alliance Employment Group is hiring Fruit Packers.
It is a full-time Contract position offering $17 per hour and 40 hours per week.
Experience will be an asset. There are no language requirements.

Locations: (Rides maybe available)

Highway 9 and 400 – Bradford west Gwillimbury

Job Duties:

• Manually sort, organize and pack Carrots
• Weigh and pack in a specified quantity
• Lift, carry and move one or more boxes at a time
• Shuffle boxes to ensure consistency
• Inspect items for quality control
• Remove defective items
• Keep work area clean
• Clean and maintain all packing pallets

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extending periods, repetitive tasks, hand-eye coordination,

Work site environment: Outdoors- you must be comfortable working in variety of weather conditions (wet/damp, hot, cold)

Qualifications:

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Experienced in packing or greenhouse labor is an asset
• Team environment oriented
• Manual dexterity, able to physically bend, stretch, twist and reach
• Work in various positions at the required speed

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Salary: $17.00 per year
