The founding members of Mirai realized the potential of the community they were a part of and focused on growing a collective of like-minded cyber security professionals, creating a great team culture and working on exciting projects. Who You Are

You are a self-driven, marketing professional who has worked with social media platforms. You proactively engage with key stakeholders in a collaborative fashion to understand their requirements and support their strategic business vision and objectives.

You have demonstrated experience working in social media marketing and you are looking for a role where you can leverage and grow your skills while making a tangible impact on strategic initiatives, the business, and your team.

The Job

As a trusted social media expert, the Project Coordinator – Communications is responsible for maintaining a highly engaged digital community. You will strategically build content and networks for our clients to stay engaged, excited, and educated about Mirai’s products and services to advance cyber security. The goal of our Project Coordinator – Social Media is to help drive and grow traffic to our social media channels and be responsible for brand recognition, while maintaining a clear and consistent customer voice.

Responsibilities Include:

• Advise Leadership and SMEs on strategy and best practices to represent their personal social platforms as needed

• Implement and monitor social listening tactics and respond accordingly and in a timely manner and track/identify trends in verticals, service offerings, industries

• Day-to-day management of social community, that includes scheduling and posting content, monitoring and engaging with the community, and campaign management

• Provide detailed monthly reports and analysis on performance, trends, key learnings and make recommendations for improvements and highlight successes

Must Have:

• Strong self-starter, with drive and determination to succeed and comfortable with ambiguity. Able to pivot and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong team player, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the wider marketing team

• Interested in the latest digital trends, comfortable speaking and marketing to cyber security-savvy audiences

• Client facing professionalism and integrity with excellent written and oral communication skills in Business English

• Understanding of information security and cyber security

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of channel strategy and the ability to create content for various audiences across all channels

• 3-5 years of B2B experience in social media management or related practice preferred

• Experience working with social media management tools for publishing and reporting

• Experience and/or interest in e-business, creatives, and copy production

• Must live in Canada and legally able to work

Salary: $37,956.00-$77,605.00 per year
