We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor/Director to join our magical team.

As the Supervisor/Director, you will provide effective leadership and management to the organization according to the strategic directions set by the owner. The Supervisor/Director will be accountable for daily operations, meeting legislative requirements, capital assets and overall programming and services of Applejacks Preschool. The Supervisor/Director will implement policies, programs, and strategic activities to further develop the centre.

Your role is multi-dimensional and you will guide the daily operations of the centre, including but not limited to: Health & Safety, parent and family relations, enrolment, staffing, training and development, employee relations, community relations and electronic data management.

To succeed in this position you are required to have:

Experienced: at least 5 years in early childhood environment, and 2 years minimum at the management level.

Human Resources, experience an asset

Certified: valid safety and first aid certificate, including infant/ child CPR

Passionate: genuine care of the curiosity of children

Work Ethic: Strong committed and high level of professionalism

Attitude: compassionate and approachable

Communication: high level verbal and written skills

Initiative: strong ability to create change and support development of a team

Knowledge for Reggio Emilia approach and nature based program an asset

Detailed oriented with excellent organization and time management skills

Pay: $56,000.00-$61,000.00 per year
