First Credit Union is looking for a team-oriented individual to assist our members by greeting our members and responding to inquiries as a full-time Receptionist. The successful candidate must commit to the service standards of First Credit Union and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. With experience in financial services or in a retail environment, a desire for continuous learning, and the ability to foster business development, they’ll also have the ability to multi-task, have excellent organizational skills and maintain a high level of professionalism.
More specifically, this role is responsible for:
- Greeting members and responding to inquiries, identifying needs, and escorting members to the appropriate area.
- Supporting the contact center, responding to member telephone and email inquiries as needed.
- Opening, sorting and routing incoming and outgoing mail.
- Ensuring a high personal standard of service and performance by actively participating in other duties assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Secondary School Diploma.
- Two years of experience in the financial, retail, or hospitality industry.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office.
- Thorough knowledge of account, lending, and deposit products and services and related policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
The necessary skills to be successful in this position include:
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve, with strong organizational skills and emphasis on time management and prioritization.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented focus.
