Recruiter – Contrans Tank Group

We are a leader’s in the transportation industry and are seeking an energetic and creative Driver Recruiter. Our division offers transportation services across North America, but the main service corridor is within Canada and around the Great Lakes region of the United States.

Responsibilities and Requirements of the job:

• Outgoing, energetic, easy to talk to disposition.

• Experience in high volume recruitment.

• Excels in human interaction and personal connection.

• Takes the success of the prospective candidate personally.

• Must have an extensive knowledge of Social Media platforms and is current (or ahead of the curve) on new technology.

• Is comfortable in a traditional “blue collar” environment.

• Able to articulate each Business Unit’s Driver compensation package to a prospective candidate, and understands how a Driver is financially successful.

• Understands our industry is very diverse and explores techniques to reach out to various communities.

• Ability to set the vision for a successful recruiting vision and able to take a leadership role with staff located in various terminals.

• Previous experience in transportation would be an asset for this role.

• Inbound and outbound calls screening job applicants, answering applicant questions, exit interviews, clarifying required information, and setting up job interviews.

• Data entry for various screening processes, properly documenting candidate status and progress.

• Ability to maintain confidential information.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently.

Salary: $55,000.00-$64,000.00 per year
