We are seeking an experienced Shipper Receiver for Fort McKay Logistics LP. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading/unloading freight and picking orders to be delivered to the appropriate area as per drop off. The incumbent is to conduct all activities in a manner that supports the mission, vision and values of the Fort McKay Group of Companies LP.

Key Focuses:

• Must have a good working knowledge of materials used in the industry
• Load and offload trucks
• Lift and carry boxes
• Verify materials received, correct and free of damages
• Pick items as per work orders
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Be alert to risks and threats in order to prevent losses before they occur
• Give proper care to the operation and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
• Must be dependable and reliable
• Strong organizational skills such as multi-tasking, setting and resetting priorities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
• Strong commitment to safety
• Good analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Good time management skills
• Team 31 (5 0n- 4 Off, 4 On – 5 Off Days Only)

Knowledge and Skill Requirements :

• Grade twelve (12) Diploma or GED equivalent is required
• Retention of a valid Class five (5) driver’s license
• Clean five (5) year drivers abstract is required
• Valid CSO certification (or combination of CSTS and OSSA or BSO) is required
• Minimum of one (1) year experience is required
• Current valid forklift certification & fall protection are an asset
• Experience with SAP considered an asset
• Ability to speak, write and read English is required
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

This is a permanent position located north of Fort McMurray, AB.
