Design for Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

About the Position

• Carries out wiring harness (WH) product automation studies on E/E architectures and its related components. This for various customers and customer programs
• Support of development of architecture alternatives e.g. of autonomous driving
• Participation on workgroups with the focus on wh product automation
• Benchmark of market available automation concepts for wh
• Optimize the Aptiv development process for WH automation studies
• Carries out customer specific project documentation and presentations with the team
• Leads, organizes, moderates and documents projects and meetings
• Close collaboration with the customers and internal functions

Requirements and Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a mechanical engineering or mechatronics discipline or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years‘ experience within the automotive industry
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office and wiring harness engineering tools
• Linguistic proficiency: English (fluent) and German (basic)
