Job Summary:
We are looking for you as Expert in Cadence Allegro and PCB designer. You are responsible for introducing Cadence Allegro, developing and customizing the workflow and the training and support for your PCB designer colleagues. Additionally you will work closely with the project teams to support them from the initial product idea until series production in terms of PCB design. In this role, you will be responsible for the design of two and more layer PCBs for antenna systems as well as the providing the related documentation.
It also involves the following tasks:

Introducing and supporting Cadence Allegro Design Tools (today: Mentor Xpedition)

Developing and improving the design workflow and guidelines

Close cooperation with the global Ericsson organization regarding Cadence Allegro Workflow

Provide trainings and support for your PCB designer colleagues

Developing of schematic and layout designs of complex mobile communication antenna arrays and components

Working closely with product design and process engineers

Being responsible for the design during the complete development life cycle (concept, design, implementation, verification, hardware integration, maintenance)

Being responsible for the design releases required generation of manufacturing files, PCB and process documentation.

Communications with PCB suppliers regarding technical challenges, tolerances and costs

Coordinating internal sourcing of PCB prototypes
Key Qualifications:
-
University or advanced technical college degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

Expert in using Cadence Allegro PCB design tools with 5 years of experience

Basic knowledge in MCAD Tools (PTC Creo)

Having detailed knowledge of circuit design and consideration for layout, routing, and timing constraints

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills

Independent and structured working method

The reliability and devotion for working in an international team environment

Good communication skills in English and German
