Do you have experience in Food Safety and Quality Management Systems?

My client is a global leading company in the fragrances and flavors sector, with a proven track-record, spanning over 100 years. As a company at the forefront of innovation, it is without a doubt that their products inspire and delight million of customers around the world.

They are currently looking to hire an experienced Quality Manger to be responsible for food safety and quality management systems at their main manufacturing sire in Dortmund.

As Quality Manager you will lead to very experienced teams and develop your expertise as people manager and gain more expertise in food safety and quality.

Your tasks:
Lead a team: You will manage the local quality control and quality management teams and ensure healthy talent pipeline concerning performance and potential. You will set and monitor targets, assess performance and talent, provide direction where needed.

Improve quality and food safety systems: You will manage the maintenance and continuous improvement of local quality and food safety systems including documentation, audit compliance with standards (such as ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, RSPO, Halal) within a large manufacturing site.

Contribute to the regional Quality System: As part of the regional Quality council EAME you will identify and promote opportunities for Quality improvements and encourage active best practices sharing.

Your profile must have:
Technical University degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology or business degree with technical experience.

3+ years work experience in relevant functional field within the food industry

Flavour industry experience is preferred

Experience in Food Safety and Quality Management Systems / Standards (FSSC22000, ISO9001)

Good technical understanding

Fluent in German and English
