Summary:

The work schedule for this position is:

Occasional Travel may include daytrips (approximately 2-3 times per year) and overnight stays (approximately with one overnight up to 5 times per year) to support constituent posts in Hamburg and Leipzig.

Duties

The incumbent serves as the primary inventory clerk for the post by handling the official Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS) database to keep records and to account for all residential properties, official residences and office property assigned to United States Government (USG) locations in Berlin, Hamburg, Bremen, and Leipzig. S/He provides direct supervision to two GSO Supply Clerks and one Receiving Clerk. This position is part of the General Services Office (GSO) and the incumbent is supervised by the GSO Property Manager under the supervision of the General Services Officer or designee.

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: please address this factor in your ERA application under major duties and responsibilities.
Three (3) years of experience with inventories, stocks, supplies or inventory databases as well one (1) additional year of general supervisory experience is required.

Education Requirements:

Completion of secondary school (US: High School Diploma/GED; Germany: state German school degree) required.

Position requires good working knowledge language skills in English (speaking/reading/writing).
Position requires good working knowledge language skills in German (speaking/reading/writing).


SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
