DESIGNER

We are looking for a dedicated and creative Designer to join our design team in Brande, Denmark.

The team
You will join our international JACK & JONES PREMIUM design department, whose vision is to create semi dressed and contemporary fashion. Your keen sense for design, colour, style and details enables you to design and create collections for JACK & JONES PREMIUM, which is the mature and upgraded lifestyle under JACK & JONES.

The job
As Designer, you will be creating our collections in close collaboration with your colleagues in the design team. You will have a key say in terms of design, colour, style and details, and will be involved in the entire process – from idea creation and initial sketches to communication with suppliers and preparation of styles for production. Every day we thrive to take contemporary fashion in a more sustainable direction with focus on responsible product development.

Your responsibilities among others include:

• Trend research
• Development and designs
• Preparing styles for production
• Communication with suppliers
• Various ad hoc assignments

Your profile
You have a genuine interest in fashion and you are dedicated to creating styles that are both trendy and sustainable. Consequently, you are always up-to-date on blogs, brands and market trends. You reckon that details do make a difference, and understand how to match styles, colours and materials to produce designs that are creative, yet also commercial. You are committed and ambitious, and you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and international environment. Furthermore, you are structured, effectively prioritising your to-dos and never missing a deadline. Your team members characterise you as a supportive and positive colleague that always assists where needed and serves as a great creative sparring partner.

Qualifications

• Relevant educational background within Design
• Experienced user of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
• Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Previous experience as a designer is an advantage, but not a requirement.
