JOB DESCRIPTION

As Legal Counsel at GANNI, you will have a broad responsibility within different areas such as supporting on commercial contracts, legal compliance and IP. You will become a part of an ambitious and fast-growing company, where you will be a trusted partner with a broad range of stakeholders.

Your primary tasks and responsibilities include the following:

• Review, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
• Contract management, including advising departments on terms, re-negotiations, deadlines etc.
• Maintain and draft contract templates
• Provide legal advice and guidance across teams in various fields of business law, including privacy law, competition law, marketing law, consumer protection law and contract law
• Lead the continuous implementation of effective actions and policies for data protection/privacy
• Support in protecting, defending and enforcing GANNIs IP

You will be working closely together with and reporting to the Head of Legal. You will be based in and working from GANNI HQ in the heart of Copenhagen.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate for this position has at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience, either from a similar in-house position or law firm in combination with:

• A master’s degree in law (e.g. Cand.jur or Cand.merc.jur).
• Solid experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• A sound legal and business judgment to provide legal advice, practical solutions and support our teams from all departments, including wholesale, retail, customer service, PR, marketing, IT and e-commerce.
• Experience with IP, privacy law, competition law and/or marketing law.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• A positive mindset, decisive and proactive way of working.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and you contribute to creating a positive working atmosphere.
• You are able to communicate effectively across all teams and levels within the organization.
• Great communications skills in English; any other language is a plus.
