Kotlin Lead – Monta

At Monta, we are building the future of EV charging.

This position offers you a unique opportunity to work with the development of a product composed of various hardware and software technologies.

The role and tasks

• You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and the head of backend to ensure your team has clear goals and direction.
• You will collaboratively design and architect features, refactor old code and ensure that the backend is always in tip-top shape
• You will also conduct weekly 1-on-1’s with your direct reports to ensure good morale and address any needs.
• You will help with recruiting efforts by participating in the interviewing process of potential candidates for your team, as well as onboarding new employees into your team.
• And lastly you’ll of course need the experience required by a senior level developer as this is also a position where you will be contributing code!

Requirements

Your profile

• Experience leading a team more than 4-5 people
• Proven track record of delivering quality software
• Strong passion and experience in coaching, mentoring engineers
• Experience architecting stable and long term solutions
• 4-6 years of experience in Java/Kotlin
