Office Manager / Administrator supporting our team in Copenhagen.

We are looking for someone to support the team with a wide range of tasks so that they can focus on the development of our rocket engines! From looking after the offices & onboarding new staff to basic finance issues and more. The role will be broad, with good opportunities to grow and make the job your own.

Key Responsibilities

  • General responsibility for managing the office, from preparing for meetings, greeting visitors to postage, shipping and mail as well as generally keeping the office tidy and a nice place to work.
  • Working with and managing local services such as cleaning personnel, maintenance team of building
  • Ordering office supplies and sundries, Eventually learning our special ordering systems for more specialist requirements.
  • Liaison and dealing with basic financial issues and papers direct to our UK finance department
  • Handle basic local office management issues, including new starter on-boarding, relocation into Denmark, helping with travel arrangements, setting up desks etc

This role will report to the Chief Development Officer in Copenhagen and will work closely with the Company Administrator based in the UK.


Essential information:

This role will require a clean criminal record check and will require excellent communication skills in both Danish & English. You will be working with an international and multicultural team.

Your time will be somewhat self managed and it is important that you are comfortable taking initiative rather than waiting to be given tasks.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of E-Boks
  • Experience of shipping goods, particularly international.
  • Any finance or HR experience would be desirable but in no way essential for the role.

  • This role is based in Copenhagen at Orbex’s propulsion engineering and manufacturing site
