Senior DevOps Business Development Executive

Your Role and Responsibilities

You’ll join the worldwide and world-class IBM DevSecOps practice, where our people and offering portfolio supports our client’s transformation and their journey to become a digital enterprise.

Together with the practice management and practitioners you will build and transform the Nordics DevSecOps practice. This includes supporting accounts in challenging DevSecOps projects, transformations, but also working with sales and solutioning.

Our DevOps team provides the trust and responsibility that our clients require to make this transformation a safe journey. DevSecOps is fundamental for enterprise agility, cloud transformation, speeding up value to market, quality and a controlled shift-left with zero-downtime site reliability. You will have a pivotal role to enable this for our clients.

You’ll work together internally IBM, our trusted partners as well with clients to ensure these capabilities are implemented, integrated, and managed.

Your responsibilities

• Analyze the clients’ IT environment for achieving better efficiency using DevOps methodology, tools and processes in conventional or Cloud environments and creates the solution design documents
• Lead technical sales discussions and work directly with C-level stakeholders at our clients.
• The linking pin between production and development and works closely together with the dev teams and providing operational knowledge and expertise.
• Conduct DevSecOps assessments at clients to assess where they are in the DevOps journey.
• Analyze the Software Development Lifecycle against DevOps best practices
• Provide customized DevOps solutions, including proposed toolchain, process and cultural aspects

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• You embrace the DevOps Culture with a thorough understanding of Cloud Platforms like IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure or AWS and Red Hat
• Experience selling large scale transformation and delivery
• You understand and can guide clients on the complexity of DevOps transformation on both the technical as well as the organizational change part
• A broad view on the DevOps tooling landscape including security and ability to advice on usability
• Strong communication and presentation skills and proven consultancy skills, advising client on the different DevSecOps capabilities and offerings
• A strong team player who leads by example.
• Relevant solutioning and sales support experience

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Good knowledge of Lean, Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Preferably works or has worked actively in an open source community
• Good understanding of the scripting languages such as Ansible/Chef/TerraForm Puppet/Helm/K8s, or development skills in Java/NodeJs/JS/Python
• Experience working with large enterprise customers
• Certified in either AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud or Red Hat
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, IT Management or equivalent.
