ServiceNow Architect

JOB PURPOSE

Lead the ServiceNow Technical Team and ensure the ServiceNow platform supports the business requirements (e.g. enhancements, monitor, reporting, integrations, maintenance or support).

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead, assist, and mentor the ServiceNow developers.
* Run the performance appraisal annually Identifying goals and development needs.
* Coordinate with other architects and technical team leads to rapidly learn a complex operational system, its subsystems, and components to positively contribute to development.
* Own daily administration & support of COFCO’s ServiceNow instances.
* Provide swift and proactive resolution of operational problems reported by ServiceNow users.
* Build and support the integration of 3rd party systems with ServiceNow; MID server, web services (SOAP and REST), email, and other relevant integration technologies.
* Create and maintain API and data integration between ServiceNow and other services.
* Transform and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems.
* Utilize scripting tools and ServiceNow functionality to automate tasks within ServiceNow.
* Deploy update sets to production environment following defined change control processes.
* Complete any development and testing tasks related to ServiceNow releases.
* Monitor ServiceNow performance and processes to stay within the established KPIs.
* Contribute to COFCO IT’s overall ITSM, ITBM, PA, and CSM strategy and roadmap.
* Take ownership of reported problems updating the status and communicating progress in a timely manner.
* Deliver operational tasks on incident, request, problem, and change management processes.
* Provide monitoring, testing, and capacity management.
* Follow and ensure that appropriate standards and best practices are adhered to.
* Collaborate with architecture and operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with company standards.
* Identify, screen, and evaluate new solution opportunities to address unmet IT needs.
* Establish security measures to protect ServiceNow systems and information infrastructure.
* Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause following security standards.
* Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
* Stay current on ServiceNow security trends and news.
* Follow company-wide best practices for IT security.
* Properly escalate unresolved technical and security issues to vendor.
* Document technical knowledge in Knowledge Base.
* Provide recommendations on processes and fulfill new/revised solutions according to established standards.
* Participate in research and pursuit of new IT operational solutions and evaluate the applicability and usefulness of current processes and solutions.
* Proven ability and eagerness to work in a globally distributed organization.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree within IT Area.
5+ years of experience with ServiceNow.
Experience in ITIL and ITSM, ITBM, PA, and CSM.
ServiceNow Certifications:
– System Administrator Certifications (CSA, mandatory)
– Any specialist module certification in ITSM, ITBM and CSM (at least, 2 modules mandatory).
– Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Performance Analytics (desirable).
– Certified Application Developer (CAD) or any Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) (desirable)
ITIL Foundations certification (desirable)
Agile certification (desirable)
Fluent in English (mandatory)
Fluent in Portuguese and/or Spanish (desirable).
