At Elba Concept, we just joined forces with a hotel luxury group and are preparing relaunch the brand, we are proud of our products and services with a concept which is innovative, fun and sustainable (travel concept). We’re looking for a highly skilled marketing director to help us re-launch and develop the brand. The ideal candidate will have extensive marketing experience, especially in leather goods (high-end handbags, luggage) and a comprehensive knowledge of branding in the premium and luxury categories. Our preferred candidate must be able to lead a team and interact with clients on a regular basis. The role also requires a deep understanding of what makes people tic as well as a drive to deliver solutions that make a difference.
Role Objectives:
* Develop long-term brand plans in collaboration with the CEO and Artistic Director.
* Create marketing and branding strategies for existing and new products.
* Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to design advertising campaigns and promotions.
* Manage marketing research budgets to inform company strategies.
Coordinate annual marketing budget and oversee marketing projects from start to finish.
* Analyze key performance metrics and market trends to provide actionable insights.
* Coordinate with media agencies to ensure consistent print and digital coverage.
Responsibilities
* Lead the development of marketing strategies by collaborating with clients, managers, creatives, content providers, and distribution partners to enhance audience growth for our products and services.
* Drive the execution of marketing campaigns, including segmentation, testing, tracking, reporting, analysis, and recommendations.
* Manage the conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans, product concepts, and promotional programs to boost customer interest and sales.
* Drive sales volume through marketing activations and manage annual sales plans with distribution partners to meet targets.
* Achieve sales targets, online activations, and visitor program goals.
* Identify and act on new commercial opportunities, such as partnerships with airlines, travel retail, hotels, and department stores.
* Monitor commercial performance using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management in collaboration with the Finance Director.
* Oversee commercial decision-making processes, including reviewing new point-of-sale proposals.
Required skills and qualifications:
* Fluent in written and verbal English, London-based or Paris-based.
Demonstrated success in senior marketing roles and campaign creation.
* Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
* Expertise in digital platforms and tools, including social media, SEO, and analytics, with a deep understanding of target audiences.
* Track record of effective budget planning and management.
* Minimum 8 years of experience in brand strategy or marketing, preferably in the leather goods industry and luxury hotel’s industry, with a solid grasp of fashion sector dynamics, including consumer behavior, market trends, and competition.
* Ability to maintain composure under pressure, proactive, highly organized, with exceptional time management and meticulous attention to detail, coupled with a strong sense of accountability.
You have:
* Minimum 5 years in managerial roles, demonstrating strong team leadership.
* Bachelor’s degree required.
* Preferably, experience with premium retail brands, especially in digital and leather goods.
* Proven track record of driving business results for brands.
* Extensive experience in E-commerce and content management.
* Proficiency in implementing CRM strategies and data analytics.
* Excellent analytical skills, prioritization abilities, and initiative-driven mindset.
* Effective communication skills, fostering collaboration and change with empathy.
