L’équipe Strategic Finance d’UberEats en Europe de l’ouest et du sud est le principal partenaire des équipes de direction d’UberEats en France, Belgique, Suisse, Portugal, Espagne et Italie.

Vous travaillerez de manière étroite afin les équipes finances Global/EMEA sur les sujets suivants: budgeting, optimisation et suivi de la performance afin d’atteindre nos targets financières et opérationelles.Vous aurez une vue holistique de nos activités en conbinant votre expertise financière et la discussions stratégique et opérationnelles avec les équipes de directions locales

Aropos du rôle

• L’équipe Strategic Finance d’UberEats en Europe de l’ouest et du sud recrute son prochain stagiaire dans ses bureaux à Paris.
• La mission de l’équipe est au cœur du développement stratégique d’Uber avec une très forte visibilité au sein de l’ensemble des équipes globales et trans fonctionnelles.
• L’équipe est chargée de travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes locales afin de driver le capital allocation, financial planning pour la région et de collaborer pour établir la stratégie de chaque pays.

Ce que vous ferez

• Planification et analyse financière: travailler en étroite collaboration avec les GMs de chaque pays et les équipes globales pour construire le planning financier
• Modélisation financière avancée: créer des modèles à partir de zéro et améliorer les modèles existants
• Innover: collaborer étroitement avec les équipes opérationnelles afin de préparer le lancement de nouveaux produits & marchés

Qualifications De Base

• Disponibilité à travailler 6 mois à temps plein en 2022 à partir du 21 mars
• Formation: ecole de commerce ou d’ingénieur
• Excel/Google Sheet avancé

Qualifications Préférées

• Précédente expérience en banque d’investissement, conseils, société de tech ou startup
• SQL, programmation (eg. python), statistiques

About The Internship

Uber’s Strategic Finance team is uniquely positioned to have transparency into Uber’s overall global business and to use financial & operational data to reach insights others might not be able to make. The team is responsible for working closely with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, tracking key financial metrics, driving efficiency, and making product and business recommendations.

The Western & Southern Europe Strategic Finance team works as the key finance partner with the leadership teams of UberEats in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain and Italy.

You will work alongside the Global/EMEA Finance team as well as our regional business leaders on the ground on projects scoping: budgeting, optimization and performance tracking to accomplish our financial and operational goals. You will get a comprehensive view of our business by combining your finance skills and the operational and strategic discussion with our local leaders.

What You’ll Do

• Financial planning and analysis: work closely with the finance organization and with regional business leaders to develop financial forecasts and operational goals, apply business judgment and financial insights to help with decision making
• Sophisticated financial modeling: build models from scratch and improve existing ones to improve the understanding of our core business and build business cases for our new ventures
• Innovate: push the boundaries beyond traditional finance and be involved with the Ops teams on the ground in the launch of new products/markets.

Basic Qualifications

• Written and spoken proficiency in English
• Currently enrolled or graduated within the last 6 months from a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a similar field
• Availability to work 6 months full time in 2022 starting on March 21st
• Working rights in France (No sponsorship available)
• Excel/Google Sheet skills: Best practices are second-nature, your models are efficient, scalable and intuitive
• See the forest **and** the trees: Strong data analytics, you know the details that matter
• Trip obsessed: Taking time to build helpful relationships, you earn the trust of others within Uber through strong situational awareness and reliability

Preferred Qualifications

• A prior internship experience working in a startup, tech company, investment banking or consulting
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with statistical packages or basic programming skills (ie Python) is highly regarded.
• Written and spoken proficiency in French is a plus
