Job Description


OBJECTIVE

  • Create and implement a comprehensive market access strategy for the current and future portfolio, for the public as well as the private segment, to maximize patient access and benefit as well as enable the sustainable development of Takeda.
  • Leverage innovative pricing, health economic modeling, health technology assessments, and evidence-based medicine reviews for an integrated approach of all aspects of the payer value proposition throughout the product lifecycles. Work with internal stakeholders for the development and approval of pricing and patient access programs proposals.
  • Effectively communicate, negotiate and partner with multiple external stakeholders to ensure the products’ value proposition is recognized.
  • Develop and implement effective Key Account Management strategies and tactics and closely collaborate with other field teams across the portfolio.
  • Understand and anticipate the development of policies and guidelines that affect the innovative healthcare providers and effectively raise awareness and represent the legitimate interests of Takeda in the debate. Represent Takeda and contribute to the work of the related industry associations and other working groups.
  • Drive public awareness of important health topics to empower patients and caretakers. Effectively communicate the purpose, values, and activities of Takeda to external stakeholders in collaboration with Communications.
  • Role model Takeda values and effectively lead, develop, and manage the team.
  • Contribute to the strategy and overall leadership of Takeda Indonesia as a member of the Indonesian Leadership Team.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Access Strategy and Execution

  • Develops, leads and communicates the short-term and long-term market access strategies for the Takeda Indonesia’s portfolio in the public and private segments.
  • Translates strategies into implementable tactics and ensures smooth execution through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Leads Market Access Initiatives to maintain and expand public and private reimbursement of products.
  • Monitors marketplace dynamics and anticipates relevant healthcare trends and changes. Ensures timely and effective reaction.
  • Closely collaborates with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. HCP associations, patient groups and government bodies).
  • Drive public awareness of important health topics to empower patients and caretakers.

Pricing and Reimbursement

  • Develops the pricing strategy and contributes to the business planning of Takeda Indonesia.
  • Develops pricing models and proposals for public reimbursements and gains internal approvals. Ensures the process and administrative requirements of the public reimbursement process are clearly understood and met.
  • Drives listing and access to products on an institutional account level.
  • Supports the development of innovative pricing schemes to support access and patient benefits.

Health Economics and Outcome Research

  • Contributes to the brand strategies in close alignment with Medical and BU teams.
  • Leads the team in the development, analysis and communication of health economics data.
  • Ensures design of relevant studies and databases proposed are fit for purpose in collecting evidence to maintain and expand access to products.

Public Affairs

  • Understand, monitor, anticipate and highlight risks and opportunities of the Indonesian political and regulatory environment.
  • Identifies decision-makers, key influencers and other relevant stakeholder groups in private and public institutions. Develops, maintains and expands relationships in close collaboration with Medical, Business Units and the Leadership Team.
  • Develops and delivers audience-specific value messages to drive sustainable access to products and the overall sustainable development of the healthcare system and its related policies.
  • Participates in industry associations, market access working groups and other forums to represent the company’s interests.

Leadership

  • Leads the team in line with the Takeda Leadership Behaviors.
  • Role models Takeda values and effectively leads, develops and manages the team.
  • Upholds, role models and monitors high integrity standards and ensures compliance.
  • Drives high performance, empowerment, and collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum possesses degree in Bachelor of Health Science, Marketing or Market Access-related area(health economics, public health, statistics, etc).
  • Minimum 5 years’ working in Market Access with understanding of the Market Access Framework and Policies related to Institutional Sector.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ pharmaceutical experience.
