Find out more at www.nikel.com Role We are currently seeking a Senior Java Developer with experience in integrating with the WhatsApp Business API. As a member of our development team, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining the integration between our application and the WhatsApp Business API. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient integration, providing an excellent user experience. Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain the integration between our application and the WhatsApp Business API. Ensure that the integration runs smoothly, securely, and performs well. Collaborate with internal teams to understand integration requirements and ensure compliance with established standards. Identify and troubleshoot integration issues quickly and efficiently. Ensure proper documentation for the developed integrations. Participate in team meetings to plan, discuss, and evaluate project progress. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Java Developer. Experience in developing integrations with the WhatsApp Business API or similar instant messaging platforms. Strong understanding of Java 8 and above, Spring Framework (especially Spring Boot and Spring WebFlux), and related technologies. Experience in developing cloud-based applications and web services. Experience with Kafka for streaming data systems. Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis. Experience in microservices development and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA). Familiarity with reactive programming and experience with frameworks such as Spring WebFlux. Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with other team members. Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with non-technical team members. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently. Prefered requirements  Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Experience with database management systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. Understanding of application integration concepts and communication protocols such as REST, SOAP, and GraphQL.
