The team you’ll be part of the Devices, Spectrum and Industrial Partner team in CNS – Enterprise Solutions
We are the team that is chartered with creating a portfolio of devices, managing spectrum for pWireless and build applications that add value above the pWireless network. This is considered as the key growth area by the strategy team.
What you will learn and contribute to
If architecting new modules and doing integrations motivates you, this is the place to be. Some of the products that we are integrating / incubating are device management, push-to-talk, data visualization & analytics, network digital twin, far edge computing & application. It is a place to exercise your creative energy and help realize Nokia’s pWireless “value above the network” strategy
As part of our team, you will:
- Work with portfolio & product managers in integrating with internal as well as external products
- Architect, from ground up, new solutions that are well thought through for ease of deployment and use
- Work with teams that are building private wireless product and provide best integration techniques
- Always be thinking on how to remove SW friction within the product such that getting it deployed and supported is automated
- Be hands-on and provide completed modules or reference implementations for others or yourself to build on and bring to fruition
Your skills and experience
You have:
- 10+ years of overall experience in delivering SW solutions with:
- 5+ years of experience in micro-services, cloud native solutions, OpenStack and architecting SW solutions that are abstracted from deployment architecture
- 5+ years of experience of being a full stack developer with hands on programming experience in different server and client programming languages and technologies
- Architected 4+ scalable solutions that are currently in use
It would be nice if you also:
- Have knowledge of SQL (Oracle/ Maria DB) / NO SQL data bases (Cassandra, Redis etc)
- Can collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver high quality products and services that meet business
- Can effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner
- Have knowledge in Messaging and streaming frameworks like – RabbitMQ / Kafka messaging APIs and push notifications
- Are familiar with Continuous Integration and DevOps methodologies and tools chain such as Jenkins, Cucumber, automated
- Are interested in Innovation and ideation. Contribute to development of new products by building quick POCs and converting
