The candidate will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing API automated tests to validate their performance, reporting test status and ensuring the successful release of the final product. Additional responsibilities include Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the automated test scripts.
Primary Responsibilities:
Candidate having 3+ years experience in API Test Automation and API Functional Testing.
Strong experience in API Test Automation using Postman Collections or Jmeter Test Suite is mandatory.
Working experience in API Test Automation using Java/Rest Assured framework experience is required.
Experience in reading and understanding Open API Specification documents (e.g.,Swagger Documents)
Basic Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree with at least 3years of relevant experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in working with Agile (Scrum) methodologies.
Work with Product Owners to define Acceptance Criteria and the Definition of Done.
Understand business requirements, analyze and create comprehensive functional test cases that are in accordance with business specifications.
Hands-on experience in designing and implementing Automation architecture/framework
Strong experience in authoring, building and adopting large scale Automation testing solutions
Hands-on experience in building Automation Test Plan and Automation Test Strategy
Hands-on experience in analyzing automation test results and identifying the issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be familiar with testing methodologies and approaches.
