Role Mission

This position will lead the company’s Digital Technologies & Analytics initiatives by serving as a Magento Architect across our eCommerce workstreams.

  • Lead elaboration and discovery sessions to inform solution design, migration and modernization strategy

Desired Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

(List NO MORE than 5 minimum requirements candidates must meet in order to be considered and NO MORE than 5 desired qualifications that you would ideally like to see in candidates.)

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering or a related field
  • 3+ years delivering enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform
  • 6+ years of experience as a software developer, including 2+ years’ experience working as a Senior or Lead Developer preferably in an ecommerce environment utilizing Magento 2.x as an e-commerce platform. This includes hands-on experience developing and modifying PHP for Magento
  • Experience integrating Magento 2.x with Drupal and/or using Magento in a headless environment is desired
  • Design, develop and implement scalable e-commerce applications to support Beam Suntory’s growing DTC (direct to consumer) portfolio.
  • Participates in the code review process to ensure that the code conforms to Beam Suntory and Magento best practices and guidelines.
  • 3+ years of experience with at least one client-side framework (Angular, React, Vue.js, jQuery, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience working MySQL, PostgreSQL or MariaDB
  • Familiar with Git and using it as part of a CI/CD framework.
  • Familiarity with container development environments and CI/CD platforms and tools such as Jenkins, Docker and OpenShift is highly desired
  • Intermediate level skill with modern CSS design principles and languages such as SASS and LESS is desired
  • Familiarity with standard authorization/authentication platforms and technologies like OpenID, Oauth2, Identity Server, Okta, Auth0, etc. is desired
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Experience with web server setup and configuration (IIS, Apache, Nginx)
