Qualifications Degree in Early Childhood Education (NTT, Montessori, ECE, CIDTT trained) compulsoryor Bachelor’s Degree

Experience Minimum 2-3 years of preschool teaching experience.

Work Timings 9 AM – 6 PM, Mon-Fri. Sat will be half day working.

General Description

KLAY is proud to announce a new educational service – Edukarerwhere teachers will guide children in their learning and overall development at their homes enabling them to continue their learning and development in the safety and comfort of their homes.

We are looking for teachers who can support the learning environment of the child which takes care of the cognitive, physical, personal, social and emotional developmental needs of the children placed under her care and also be a team player, exemplifying the right / KLAY values and code of conduct while planning and executing sessions, interacting with parents.

The role will involve travelling to the child’s house to support in the learning activities of the child and being responsible to care for the child.

MainResponsibilities

· Responsible for supporting the child in online class (KLAY or Non-KLAY)

· Help with home-assignments/home work

· Engaging them with multiple hands on fun/learning activities, story-telling, reading books, music & movement

· Help in getting the child to routine

· Maintains required reports and records for every child.

· Ensures that observations and assessments of children are carried out regularly

· Ensures the safety, health, hygiene and security of the child.

· Notifying reporting manager of any areas of concern

· Interacting with parents to discuss child’s progress.

Optional Responsibilities

· Taking care of basic needs like feeding meals &putting them to nap.

· Engage the child in warm up exercises

· Enable nature walk/outdoor play (focussed at physical development, given the context children have developed a sedentary lifestyle)

· Is calm and composed at all times and a good team player

· Demonstrates professional behaviour while interacting with Parents and team members.

· Ability to manage time, resources and stress effectively

· Serve as a role model to children in terms of punctuality, respect, responsibility,

· Enthusiastic, takes Initiative and displays Ownership

· Be reliable in attendance and give ample notice for absences

· Communicate directly and avoid gossip

Required Skills

· We are looking for female graduates with good communication skills, a pleasing personality, boundless energy and enthusiasm to work with young children in a rapidly growing organization.

· The role will involve travelling to the child’s house to support in the learning activities of the child and being responsible to care for the child.

· Having your own vehicle will be advantageous.

· Knowledge of early child development milestones and child related concepts and practices

· Basic Computer skills including MS Office suite of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint. Comfortable using apps on smartphone.

· Good Communication & presentation skills, both oral and written, esp. report writing
Being good in Creative work and Story-telling skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹17,000.00 – ₹20,000.00 per month
