Market Access Lead – Oncology Liquid Tumours – Medella Life

  • O NCOLOGY L IQUID T UMORS A CCESS L EAD*The Oncology Liquid Tumours Access Lead is responsible for executing market access and HEOR strategic activities to support optimal reimbursement and market access for the Oncology Liquid Tumors portfolio.
  • This is a global position with a focus on delivering strategies and global market access projects to support and demonstrate the value of products in the oncology liquid tumors portfolio to successfully contribute to company objectives.

    The Oncology Liquid Tumours Access Lead will be supporting a growing oncology and specialty care organization by providing support in Market Access and HEOR plans.

    The role will therefore require deep understanding of the relevant access routes, pricing, reimbursement mechanisms as well as scientific, technical, regulatory, intellectual property and commercial considerations, to ensure maximum impact of well-designed HEOR strategies and plans.

    The Oncology Liquid Tumours Access Lead will be required to work closely with internal stakeholders and other members of the business, from local affiliates to HQ to deliver an effective global and localized strategies for liquid tumour products.

    The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and skills.*Responsibilities : *The Oncology Liquid Tumours Access Lead will be responsible for generating global Market Access strategies for the liquid tumour assets and adapting them for local markets with support from the broader Market Access team, engaging directly with key players and coordinating pre-launch activities, including :

  • Generating global access strategies in conjunction with wider Market Access, HEOR, regulatory and other parts of cross-functional teams for Liquid tumour assets.
  • Co-ordinating vendor activities in support of global strategy generation.
  • Managing the necessary activities to generate a full range of Market Access Materials, from Stakeholder Mapping, to GVDs, reimbursement and HTA negotiation strategies (list not exhaustive).
  • Provide Market Access insights into cross-functional discussions for the liquid tumours portfolio.
  • Support cross-functional teams in product development activities.
  • Participate and lead Market Access discussions on relevant assets.
  • Interact closely with HEOR and Pricing teams to align Market Access strategies.
  • Proactively propose novel approaches and solutions to unique and ever- evolving situations.
  • Be accountable for the delivery of agreed plans to time, budget and quality and provide updates on the progress, risks and opportunities of the agreed plans to the appropriate governance bodies for review.
  • Identify, manage and mitigate risk to delivery.*Experience : *Strong understanding of the current and future Market Access environment in Oncology Liquid tumours (AML, MM, BPDCN and more)
  • Good knowledge of the drug development process and global commercialisation environment with proven track record of successful contribution to Market Access Strategy and HEOR evidence generation.
  • Proven track record of supporting market access, regulatory or commercial function in launching products (including those with a biomarker strategy).
  • Knowledge of overall drug development process.
  • Credible, in-depth knowledge and experience of generating Market Access and HEOR strategies across multiple liquid oncology assets.
  • Ability to present compelling business cases and influence other departmental and local affiliate leaders to support cross functional implementation of new initiatives and projects.
  • Ability to adapt and communicate a tailored, localised Market Access and HEOR strategy, to the local Market Access stakeholders, including local affiliates, who will be making the local HTA and reimbursement submissions in the future.
