Missions and Responsibilities
The main task in this position is ESM gas product analysis and analysis data verification. (with Xe/Kr, ESM metal analysis) It is also responsible for maintenance of the analyzer and check and verification of the Lab KPI.
- Air impurities analysis of ESM products in EMCK – D2 ,Xe, Kr, CO2 and Mixture gases (Xe / H2 bal) by GC
- Metal impurities analysis of Precursor & ESM products in EMCK – BDEAS, D2, Xe, Kr, CO2…. by ICP-MS.
- Air impurities analysis of IM products in Cheonan facility – He, O2, N2, Ar and Mixture gase (Laser gas mixture).
- Confirms the analysis data on weekly or monthly basis.
- Management of Spare parts count.
- Lab analyzers check & maintenance in daily. (Normal operation)
- Lab weekly KPI check sheet (Carrier gas / Gas analyzers / Utilities…)
- Monthly calibration : GC & Moisture analyzer
- Support to normal operation of Lab analyzers
- Backup for emergency Lab analyzer problems.
2. GC / H2O & ICP-MS analyzers management:
- Gas analyzers maintenance. (LAB & Operation team analyzers)
- Support to normal operation of gas analyzers. (Daily check key KPI)
- Troubleshooting of gas analyzers
- Backup for emergency gas analyzer problems
3. Analytical Method Control
- Perform an MSA study, GR&R.& LTS
- Make SOP of analyzers and revision.
- Communication to Lab team with OOS analysis result.
Competencies and Profile
- Education Level: Associate
- Discipline/Major: Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Specific Training or Certification: Engineer Hazardous material (위험물 기능사) /
Craftsman Gas (가스 기능사) - Years of working experience: Less than 3 years
- Language Skill: Basic level in English
Additional information
- Associate degree in engineering, preferably Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. Substantial work experience could be substituted.
- Less than 3-years experience with analysis methodologies and safety system also preferably experience with analysis of gas products.
- Knowledge of sampling process of Inert & Toxic gas product for GC / Moisture & ICP-MS analyzer.
- knowledgeable on codes and standards of Analyzers.
