Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a self-motivated, hard-working full-time Avionics Technician 3 or 4 for the Republic of Korea Global Hawk Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) Program in Sacheon, South Korea.
The candidate will install and troubleshoot avionics systems wiring in aircraft in accordance with technical specifications and engineering instructions. Also, performs maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re assembly or adjustment of various vehicle systems. Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance. Fabricates, installs and tests installation, routing, clamping and wiring harnesses. Reads wiring diagrams and blueprints. Maintains applicable customer required records, manuals and inspection forms. Recommends corrective actions and resolves problems using technical publications and analytic techniques.
Records information on maintenance data collection forms and automated systems. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution in minimum time. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Provide over the shoulder training to the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) customer when required.
Assignment to Sacheon, Korea will be for at least 2 years and will be accompanied.
This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.
Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years of relevant experience.
- A basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be a US Citizen with current DoD Secret Clearance
- Able to commit to 2 year overseas assignment to Sacheon, Korea
- Must be able to support the 24/7, fast paced, operations environment and adapt to changing priorities based on mission need
- Willingness to work after hours and weekends as required
Basic Qualifications for Level 4:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of relevant experience.
- A basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be a US Citizen with current DoD Secret Clearance
- Able to commit to 2 year overseas assignment to Sacheon, Korea
- Must be able to support the 24/7, fast paced, operations environment and adapt to changing priorities based on mission need
- Willingness to work after hours and weekends as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- (FAA) Airframe and Power plant (A&P) and General Radiotelephone Operators License (GROL) desired
- Certified UAV Technician / Aircraft Electronics Technician
- Working knowledge of maintenance databases
- Worked on previous Global Hawk maintenance programs
- Air Force avionics maintenance experience

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay . Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
