You will be part of CMD(Chromatography and Mass Spec Division) of the ThermoFisher Scientific Korea. In this role you will proactively manage accounts and focus on selling the Chromatography and Spectrometry instrument into a territory in the region territory of S. Korea. You will be selling Thermo’s products and solutions into the government, proactively develop customers and successfully implement and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed quota targets within the territory.
Responsibilities
- Achieve all sales targets around quota
- Responsible for developing customer relationships and maintaining their satisfaction
- Provide prompt response to all customer requests
- Supporting and developing customer relationship and customer satisfaction
- Identifying market trends and customer needs and implement according solutions in order to generate new business
- Work with product specialist, application engineers to close sales opportunities
- Conduct basic product demos and reviews with customers
- Proactively and independently prospect for new customers and new opportunities
- Work collaboratively with all our Thermo product and service representatives as a One team
- Application of sales strategy and market management plan by application
- Provide rigor CPQ based SFDC updates, expense reporting and other required business reporting
- Works on sales assignments with broadly defined objectives
Requirements
- A sales representative with 5+ years experience; Chromatography and/or Mass Spectrometry instruments
- Ability to prioritize activities that achieve sales goals, good time and territory management skills. Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, physics or other technical field highly desirable.
(A master’s or doctoral degree in a related field provides benefits to the career)
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel both by ground and air carrier
