At Beerwulf we’re looking for a Dev Ops Engineer to join our team.

We’re a pretty young company (5 years young), and we’ve recently evolved from start-up to scale-up phase. We are active in 10 European countries, and offer a dynamic and innovative work environment where you can truly make an impact. Our team is a selected blend of around 70 beer and eCommerce specialists.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and pragmatic Dev Ops Engineer. As Dev Ops Engineer you help our backend team to expand our eCommerce platform with cutting edge features. By doing so, you ensure the success of our company. You would be part of the back-end team. The goal is to continuously develop and upgrade our shop, to keep our consumers coming back for more! You’re keen on automating every bit there is to make development faster and smoother, so your ears are always pointed towards your developer colleagues. Are you up for this challenge?

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL FOCUS ON

Your Key Responsibilities

• Our beloved eCommerce platform infrastructure. Our back-end team needs a Dev Ops Engineer who can quickly implement scalable, sustainable automation solutions for developers. That will give you a unique experience of building infrastructure on all eCommerce domains we are running upfront!
• We want to automate as much as possible from idea to production. We also believe a great Dev Ops culture strives for an excellent developer experience to maximize potential of our product.
• Sustainable engineering: We expect every team member to be aligned with best practices. Technical documentation will make it easier for us to adopt for changes as quickly as possible. These will be your main guiding principles in every front we’re advancing.

THE THINGS YOU BRING TO BEERWULF AS A DEV OPS ENGINEER

• A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a discipline such as Information Technology.
• Good communication skills, you can explain very sophisticated technical challenges to any non-tech person in company.
• You’re comfortable with challenge. We have an environment that we challenge every engineering decision there and move fast to change.
• Extensive proficiency with container frameworks specifically (Docker), container orchestrators (Kubernetes) and cloud deployment technologies with container networking, network topologies and common network protocols and services on Docker.
• Experience administering CI/CD systems, creating build configurations and pipelines (Azure DevOps, NuGet)
• Affinity with programming is a must.
• Azure cloud experience (preferably), or proven experience with other public cloud providers
• Experience with IaC principles and the technologies like Terraform, Azure Resource Manager or Cloud formation
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)

Nice To HaveBut above all, you have a healthy amount of beer-love and are excited to work for the online beer retailer that is conquering Europe!

• Experience with unit testing frameworks, mocking framework
• Software development skills using C# and .NET Core
• Strong communication skills.
• Proven track record in shipping high quality products on schedule. You strongly believe that quality and speed can be achieved together.
• The ability to work on other cross-functional projects in which you are able to show your strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Fluency in English.
