Data Scientist Intern

We’re looking for a curious and motivated Data Science Intern to join our team.

This internship focuses on collecting environmental and clinical sounds to develop a machine learning algorithm for noise canceling and noise gating. The noise gating feature ensures that the stethoscope only transmits sound when it is in contact with the patient’s skin, enhancing the physician’s experience by allowing them to focus solely on clinical sounds. This internship aims to improve the accuracy and reliability of our digital stethoscope, providing clearer auscultation results.

Competences

• Possesses a background in data science, machine learning, or a related discipline. 
• Demonstrates strong programming proficiency and substantial experience in signal processing. 
• Exhibits a proven ability to collaborate effectively, contribute to team initiatives, and work towards shared objectives.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for collecting and analyzing environmental and clinical sound data to develop and refine machine learning algorithms for noise canceling and noise gating. 
• Work designing experiments, training models, and testing the algorithms to ensure they effectively filter out unwanted noise.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand their needs and optimize the user experience.
