Business Controller

As Business Controller you will act as financial strategist to our flourishing New Installations business unit. You will act as sparring partner for the New Construction and Large Projects Director. Your work is very divers, both creating and analyzing business reports for the management team, as keeping track of operating expenses. To be successful in this role, you have a strong understanding of both numerical and accounting knowledge and experience. You combine your can-do oriented attitude with strong analytical and communication skills. You re good at planning and organising and you are proactive and pragmatic. You like to work torwards results and you have a commercial attitude.

Responsibilities

• Month closing activities & analysis;
• Budget process / activities;
• Supporting on internal & external audit;
• Creating, running and analyzing business reports for management team;
• Creating financial awareness among other departments/internal trainings;
• Keeping track on operating expenses;
• Rolling Forecasting;
• Improving internal processes (including finance department);
• Being a business partner for New Installations team and Management Team members;
• Large project controlling;
• Ad-hoc reports / analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor (HBO) or Master in accounting, finance, business administration, economy;
• Minimum of 3 years experience in finance/controlling or audit. Certified accountant or auditor would be a plus, preferably;
• Audit firm experience is a plus (min 2 years);
• SAP knowledge, preferably;
• Fluent in English, Dutch native speaker is a plus;
• Experience with PowerBI is a plus;
• Energetic, positive person.
